About Ankita:

Things Ankita loves: Rice; as a medium, as food, as mother, as mark and as a spiritual symbol.  Writing. Recently experimental non-fiction poetry? Eyeballing the amount of salt she adds to any dish. Making dyes. Recursion.

Things Ankita is: A Singaporean-Indian. A daughter. Curious.

Things Ankita wants to do: Move to NYC. Design a ‘Rice World’. Build a set. Maybe voice act, who knows.

Ankita is working towards a BFA’26 in Furniture Design at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where her work has been shown during NYC Design Week, the National Hand Paper Maker’s Conference, and the RISD Museum’s student gallery. Visit her CV here.
